"Man this track was created for the people who recognize the relation between women and money. It started off when my boy Nujam emailed me some lyrics about gold diggers. I had to flip it! I added my signature touch to bring out lyrical rhythm. Our goal became commercial once we edited and recorded the lyrics. We wanted to cut down on the verses and increase chorus and bridge impact, so we shortened the verses which allowed for the chorus and bridge to be repeated towards the end. I created a beat that was soft like a lady in order to match the theme. My favorite part is the second verse. I love the confidence and swag created. After I recorded the track, I asked my people to help with vocalizing the chorus. There are two females who helped out on this one. One is an aspiring rapper & the other helped just because I asked. We decided to make this the official 1st single off the album because everyone who heard it loved it."
"Labelle had Lady Marmalade. The ladies have had their say on the subject. So I felt it was time for a man to put a spin on this hot topic. I wanted to give the world my interpretation from the eyes of the undercover cop. The song reflects elements relating to the product, supply / demand and society's effort to control the market. The supplier has their reason for being the service provider. The demand is possibly as old as mankind and resistance and control will live on long after I'm dead. The advertizing tactics have not changed. There is every variety, shape, color and size and the Johns will never cease from looking for fun. The only thing that has truly evolved is the payment aspect, "Cash or Charge", cha ching."
